Mother-Baby Maternity Orientation Class -  for Ascension St. John Owasso Patients ONLY

Self Study with  Personal One-On-One  Phone Consultation with Instructor 
These classes can be taken at any time. 

From the comfort of your own home, these Self Study classes will contain all information mailed to your address; containing an app with videos shown in class as well as the class book and handouts.  Each class will have the ability to schedule a personal one-on-one phone consultation with the instructor to answer your questions and go over the material provided to meet your needs.

This is a free orientation class for patients delivering at Ascension St. John Owasso that can be taken at any time during pregnancy.  It is an excellent way to become familiar with where you will be delivering your baby. The class will provide the expectant mother and her support person with an overview of the Mother-Baby Maternity guidelines and an optional tour of the Owasso facility, when our visitor policy allows. It will include what to pack for the hospital, where to park, classes we offer, what to expect during your hospital stay. 

This is not designed to replace the Childbirth Education classes that we offer. Please make sure you are preparing for your birth by attending a childbirth education class or have had a previous delivery.  If you are already enrolled in one of our Childbirth Education classes, you do not need to enroll in the Maternity Orientation.

Register for our Childbirth Education Class if you want to learn more about having an epidural, how to time contractions, when to come to the hospital, breathing and relaxation, different labor positions, stages of labor, what to expect during a cesarean delivery, what your pain medication options, information on a natural birth option and much more is covered in our childbirth class.

Please register under the expectant mother's name. Due to space constraints, the slots for this class are limited to two people each. Register using the mother's name and then list the other person's name in the registration under Support Person.

If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
