A great class for new parents to learn baby care for the first six weeks of life.
Classes scheduled will be limited to 5 couples to ensure social distancing.
All Ascension St. John locations have universal masking policies in place. Visitors are required to bring their own masks and to wear the mask while in the hospital and in the patient's room and classroom. Visitors may wear cloth and homemade masks.
Newborn 101 teaches basic newborn care such as feeding choices, diapering, bathing, umbilical cord care and circumcision care. This class reviews principles in choosing a physician for your baby and when to call a doctor, all taught by a nurse and pediatrician. This class is priced for two people, the mother and the support person of her choosing. Enroll under mother's name only.
If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
